About

Already as a 14 year-old the German jazz singer Alexandra Naumann loved to enter the sensual world of songwriting and guitar playing for hours in the privacy of her own room. Today, being a professional, internationally renowned singer and also a teacher at the HfMT Cologne, with her new project „Hummingbird“, she revisits these roots, to redefine them. Entering the world of „birdwatching“ the music to be heard evokes a lilting, light and yet powerful feeling. Her warm and vivid voice interprets pop classics as well as her own compositions with a natural beauty, while a humble band, consisting of „organic basics“ such as: drums, bass, piano and saxophone, adds fragrances of jazz, pop, and world music to complete the picture.
